On June 27, the Trans-Himalaya International Conference of Entrepreneurs, a significant international event, was held in Nyingchi City, China’s Xizang Autonomous Region. Since its inception, the conference has been successfully convened multiple times, attracting over 400 leaders, ambassadors to China, and experts and scholars from more than 50 countries and regions, as well as over 20 international cooperation organizations. This year’s conference saw participation from over 150 individuals and 89 enterprises.

The conference featured a diverse array of activities, including keynote forums, site visits and discussions, as well as contract signings for various projects. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on critical topics, including ecological protection, sustainable development, and economic and trade cooperation within the Himalayan region. Since its inception, the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded significant outcomes. It not only fosters economic and trade collaboration among countries along the Belt and Road but also enhances cultural exchange and strengthens people-to-people connections.

At the conference, the positive impact of the Belt and Road Initiative was prominently showcased. Attendees expressed that this platform provided them with a deeper understanding of the economic, cultural, and social development within the Himalayan region, fostering more profound and extensive cooperation and exchange.
