On March 15, DeepZang, a Tibetan large language model with its intelligent applications, was launched in Lhasa, Xizang. Independently developed by Xizang CHOKNOR Digital Industry Company, it is the first Tibetan large language model in China to have completed national generative artificial intelligence registration. At the launch event, two intelligent applications, the CHOKNOR Jinyun AI Open Platform and the DeepZang App, were unveiled. The former is China’s first multilingual, multimodal AI open platform for ethnic languages. The latter enables intelligent interaction in Tibetan, Chinese, and English, allowing users to achieve real-time mutual translation, Tibetan-language Q&A, and cultural knowledge queries through voice or text input.
