Cham Dance Performed at Kumbum Monastery of Qinghai

Recently, Kumbum Monastery, a famous Tibetan Buddhist temple in Qinghai Province, held the “Cham Dance” ceremony, praying for world peace, national prosperity, and the well-being of the people.

Cham dance is a religious dance performed by monks. Performers wear masks and theatrical costumes, hold all kinds of props, and perform divine dances one after another with the accompaniment of a band consisting of monks.
